Urban Escapes is a curated series of intimate experiences — each one set somewhere unexpected, designed for people who move fast and rarely slow down. This is your invitation to do exactly that.

Volume One takes place at a private lakefront estate on Lake Austin. Arrive by boat. Be welcomed at the water. Spend an evening where every detail has been considered so you don't have to think about a single one.

Forty guests. One residence. One evening that earns the word "escape."

Boat Departure — Tarrytown Dock
Your journey begins the moment you step aboard. A private boat departs from Tarrytown with a dedicated staff member offering chilled water and hand fans. The lake opens up. The noise of the city doesn't follow you here.
5:30 PM
Waterfront Arrival & Resort Welcome
As the boat approaches the estate, the full staff lines the dock. You are greeted by name, handed a welcome glass of champagne and a chilled eucalyptus towel. This is what it feels like to arrive somewhere that's been waiting for you.
5:30 – 6:30 PM
Cocktail Hour — Poolside
Drift through the estate's outdoor living spaces at your own pace. A dedicated bartender crafts handcrafted cocktails and mocktails. Individually plated mini charcuterie sets are presented alongside caviar bumps on the hand. Not passed. Presented.
6:30 PM
Dinner is Called
Staff gracefully guide guests to the dining arrangement. Open seating — sit beside someone new. Every table has a view of the water, a conversation card, and enough candlelight to make the whole thing feel cinematic.
6:30 – 8:30 PM
Taste of the Pacific — Three Courses & Hula
A private chef leads a Pacific-inspired three-course dinner. Between courses, traditional hula dancers perform — grounding the evening in the warmth and spirit of the islands. A DJ arc builds underneath, so naturally you don't notice it rising until you're already in it.
8:30 – 9:00 PM
Golden Hour & Departure
The lake catches the last of the light. Return transfers by boat are available. The evening closes the way it opened — quietly, on the water, with no reason to rush.

Shared Bites
A generous spread of Pacific-inspired small bites served family-style to the table — designed to spark conversation and set the tone for the meal ahead. Passed, shared, and savored together.

Main Course
Choice of Two
Guests pre-select one of two chef-curated mains at registration — both Pacific-inspired, both elevated. Your selection is confirmed before the evening so dinner arrives without a single decision left to make.

Dessert
Chef's Surprise
Plated tableside and offered without description until it arrives. Artful, intentional, and designed to be the last thing you talk about on the boat ride home.

Cocktail Hour
Caviar Bumps
A roving caviar service during cocktail hour — staff offering caviar bumps on the hand alongside charcuterie sets from Cheese on Deck. The kind of detail that sets the tone for the entire evening without saying a word.
At Each Place Setting
Conversation Cards
A beautifully printed Pourter-branded card with three curated questions — not icebreakers, genuine prompts. Designed to open real conversations between strangers. A keepsake worth taking home.
During Dinner
Hula Performance
Traditional hula dancers perform between courses — a graceful, immersive expression of Pacific culture that deepens the evening's theme. Movement, story, and spirit, brought lakeside to Austin.
Before Dessert
Sunset Toast — Lakeside
Guests are invited to the water's edge for a hosted toast as the sun sets over Lake Austin. Glasses raised. A brief, still moment before the final course and the evening's close.
Optional Add-On
Hula Bottle Service — $300 — A dancer escorts your bottle to the table in full presentation style for you and up to 4 guests. An elevated, theatrical touch — add on at registration.
Bar & Music
The bar is fully hosted throughout the evening. The DJ enters low and textural, building naturally so the energy lifts exactly when you're ready for it.
